About Me
1/4 Splenic Projector | RAX of Consciousness
My story began with desire to live a "better" life...
As a 1/4 Splenic Projector born and bred in Toronto, Canada. I was brought up in a typical, huge Filipino family. I am the oldest of 5 siblings and have 30+ first cousins! Needless to say my family, friends and community mean a lot to me, which is not surprising with nine 4th lines in my design!
Coming from a first-generation immigrant family, I was taught a specific formula in order to have a "better" life. Go to a good university, graduate, get a job, save, get married, buy a home retire. Yet it seemed like every time I tried to follow script, life always had other plans. I would push hard, and the universe would push back even harder.
Things didn't go as planned...
In 2013, I graduated university with a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Accounting, landed my first "big girl" job at a Big Four Accounting Firm and got my CPA. I thought it was going to be the beginning of a long, fulfilling and successful career. Oh boy was I wrong!
My open heart Projector Self felt so out of my element. I was immersed deep into an intense hustle and grind culture, where I had to prove my worthiness each day through how many hours I was able to clock in. In fact, once I was given a poor performance review on a job because I would "leave early" at 6pm after working 10 hours. The bitterness and burnout was real...
At the end of my 3rd year, my Splenic Authority was loud and clear. I needed to get out. So in true Splenic (and Sagittarius!) fashion, I spontaneously signed up for a TEFL training in Barcelona to become an English Teacher. Just two weeks later, I was solo in a new city and starting my new life.
Eventually, Human Design found me at a time I needed it most.
After living in Barcelona for almost a year, I eventually found myself back at home and working at a big bank. Long story short: I met the love of my life in Barcelona, we got pregnant and I decided it was time to move back and get more financially secure with a baby on the way. (My now-husband came with me!)
During my time at the bank, I still struggled with feelings of wanting something different. While I was working, I experimented with fitness coaching, drop-shipping, handmade crystal jewelry shop owner, blogging and coaching. In 2019, the year after my daughter was born, the time for change came once again and my husband and I decided we wanted to move back to Barcelona for good.
I thought what better time to go all in on my business! Well, as a 4th line, going "all-in" wasn't exactly the best idea. I struggled with severe anxiety and burnt out very quickly in the first two months of going full-time in my coaching business. My mentor at the time divinely introduced me to Human Design, which is when I first discovered I was a Projector and I've been obsessed ever since! Starting my experiment truly revolutionized my life and business, brought me back to my unique rhythms and since then, it's been my mission to help others too.
